Susan Rawls, Au.D. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, aural rehabilitation, and other audiology services in Cary, NC.

Dr. Rawls has been in the audiology profession for over 35 years. In 2006, she opened Cary Audiology Associates. After working in busy medical (ENT) offices for over 20 years, Dr. Rawls went into private practice in an effort to provide more personal and comprehensive care to her patients, in a less restrictive environment. As ninety percent of hearing loss is not medically correctible, private practice has given her the opportunity to spend more time on the assessment, and more importantly, the aural rehabilitation, which is critical for better hearing.

Emily Ackley, Au.D. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, aural rehabilitation, and other audiologic services in Cary, NC.

Dr. Emily Ackley obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of North Carolina at Asheville. She then earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Towson University, located near Baltimore, Maryland. She is a licensed audiologist in North Carolina and South Carolina. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and is a member of the North Carolina Audiology Association.

Dr. Rebecca Vlk (rhymes with Belk) obtained her clinical Doctorate in Audiology from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She has worked for over 10 years in private practice in North Carolina. Dr. Vlk is a licensed audiologist in North Carolina and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is a member of the North Carolina Audiology Association.
